A: Hi,   I'll get right to the point. As painful as letting go is, spellwork to get someone back never works out. I'm really sorry about this, believe me, I know from personal experience. The heart has to heal before any real step can be taken toward the other.  

Spells to get someone back is nothing short of out & out manipulation of another's will. That is not love, Love allows & love forgives. That's why it isn't a love spell at all, but a control spell. It does far more harm than any temporary good or relief it may bring to you. 

Instead learn from what has happened, heal your own wounds. Get your house in order i.e work on you.  

Sure, you can find those spells to control another back into your life. You can even find people who will do them or show you how to do them yourself. But I'd steer clear of it. Forgiveness of the self is the wise place to begin. In that if it is meant to be, it will be. But if not, another walks in to pick up the lessons where you left off. At least that has been my experience again & again & again.

Q:    I did a spell for the wrong reasons a few years back, and it bit me in the ass. I have re-framed from magick since then. Today, I went to move my spell book, and a photo fell out of know where. The photo is of my friend Rebecca and her son. Hidden in the background is my friends brother who was brutally murdered with no idea of who done it. Then, my radio cut on to static scaring me to death, until I realized that it may of been a sign. I want to do something for my friend, but not sure what it should be. Something to ease her pain, to forget her pain, a justice spell for her brothers attackers? I know I have magick in me, but with my history of ignorance and abuse may go against me. Can you help at all, can you point me in the right direction.


A:   Hi "J",   This isn't an easy or brief issue to discuss. An e-mail can at best point in a direction for you to explore. So, here's what I think.  

Magick  is a tricky thing. The hardest part is learning when not to use it. We all make mistakes & that's how we learn. Yes, we have power within us. But the power needed in Witchcraft, let alone any kind of magick, requires wisdom. Wisdom comes from experience, so you have to actually practice the art to get good at it & develop wisdom. 

So, in the cases you listed in your message, start with prayer. Accept that you don't know what to do & ask your higher power for inspiration.Then, just send all people involved as many magickal/energetic blessings that you can generate. Focus on blessing & protecting the people in need first. That's nowhere near as tricky as justice magick. 

Then let's really look at you following inspiration. Learn all you can in the Craft & in magick that interests you. Every Witch needs training & most of the best were self trained for part of their path. Study, find a daily spiritual practice that supports you & builds your power inside. That will help you hear the voice of guidance within you. Intuition will tell you whether to get involved yet or at all.  

So, start with blessings, get yourself together energetically & follow your gut.

Past life Regression - PLR, is certainly a fascinating thing. I know of lots of ways to tap into that, but I think a well researched approach is the best. Read up on it. There is a wide variety of theories around the subject as well as about reincarnation in general. That process of understanding is good to have walking into your soul's journey, because there's a lot going on in this area for all of us.  

Hypnosis seems to produce the most significant & consistent results for me & those I know. But the mode of hypnosis varied a lot. We experienced it through everything from working with a professional hypnotist to self induced meditation & hypnotic recordings. 

Really, I just cast a spell I stole & edited from Charmed. I say it, then lay down & close my eyes.  Mind you,  I've been meditating since I was a teenager & I'm in my 40's. So I think you may want do some solid research into hypnotism, subliminal audios & all of that before diving in.  

Yet, the soul has its way of being heard. If it wants you to explore other lives, just work with it, follow your guidance, do what feels good deep down & you'll find what you need to find.
